As a female run, female founded business, we hold International Women’s Day close to our hearts, but this year we wanted to approach it differently.
Right now, across the globe, millions of women and children are at risk.
The war in Ukraine, Syrian conflicts, and persecution of minorities worldwide, shocks and saddens us.
With that in mind, we’re devoting this day to sharing how you can support and help them. All the organisations below work to support women and children in Ukraine and beyond.
HOW TO HELP
1. Donate to funds supporting women, girls, and gender non-conforming people in Ukraine:
Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights
Polish Humanitarian Action support not just Ukraine, but women across the globe in conflict
The Ukranian Institute has further ways to get involved here.
2. Write to your MP
(details here)
3. Use your voice to speak out.
The days of women silently sitting back whilst the menfolk go off to war are over. Get on social media, use your following to share your thoughts, your sadness and your horror over this experience, tagging in our leaders and global influencers.
We’re women, sisters, daughters, mothers, and friends. None of us can face the idea of loving those we love, and we stand in solidarity with our global family, in the hope they don’t either. War is never the answer.
