Recently sage has become a popular ingredient in supplements for women going through the menopause.
Each of these Lamberts® Sage tablets provides the equivalent of 2.5g of dried herb. Lamberts use a high grade sage extract that has a guaranteed level of 2.5% rosmarinic acid (the 'active' compound in sage). They also carefully extract the sage to have very low, insignificant level of thujone, an unpleasant naturally occurring compound in the sage plant.
