Natural Brown Hair Dye is suitable for blonde to light brown hair, and colours grey hair.
This It's Pure Natural Brown Hair Dye is lighter than the Dark Brown shade and it is also a warmer colour.
100% organic, Soil Association certified and free from all artificial chemicals, PPD, ammonia, peroxide and metallic salts, this gorgeous Natural Brown Hair Colour leaves your hair with increased volume, shine and vitality.
The 110g pack is a full sized natural hair dye, while the 10g pack is a small sachet sample of the dye, for the purpose of strand testing on hair or patch testing on skin. It comes with full instructions. The pack provides enough colour for average shoulder length hair. If your hair is thick or long you may need more.
The pack also includes polythene gloves and a cap.
The likely outcome of Natural Brown Hair Dye on different initial hair colours:
Because everyone's hair is different this organic hair dye will produce varying results depending on your hair type and initial hair colours. The lighter your hair, the lighter the resulting colour will be.
- On very light coloured blonde, very grey, or white to start with, the colour outcome may be anything from blonde to light brown.
- On dark blonde hair it is likely to darken it to light brown.
- On already light brown hair it is likely to darken it slightly.
- On salt-and-pepper mixed white and light brown hair it will be an average effect overall of the two colours. So after dyeing, the white hair may be lighter than light brown, and the light brown hair may go a slightly darker brown.
A darker colour result may be achieved by repeated applications. If your hair is very light coloured to start with it is also possible that the colour outcome may be warmer (i.e. slightly more auburn).
The colour is also affected by how long you leave the paste on. If you leave the paste on for 1 hour it will be a lot lighter than if you leave it on for 3 hours. It also tends be a warmer colour when it is left on for a shorter time and a cooler and darker brown when it is left on for a longer time.
Strand Testing:
If it is the first time you have used this hair colour we fully recommend doing a strand test first before putting the hair colour all over your hair, because the colour outcome can vary depending on each person's hair. We also suggest waiting 24 hours after the strand test to see how the colour develops, because the colour will oxidise over time and strengthen.
You may experiment with mixing different shades of It’s Pure Organics Herbal Hair Colours together, to get your own unique shade. However we do recommend you strand test first as we cannot guarantee the outcome of your own combinations.
